HSE Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and toolbox talks
  • Monitor and report near misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions
  • Lead emergency response drills and promote a proactive safety culture
  • Collaborate with site teams to enforce safety culture across operations.
  • Maintain HSE documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards

H2S Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain H2S Detection and Air Breathing Safety Systems on land or offshore rigs.
  • Complete Maersk H2S Safety Services and customer documentation accurately and on time.
  • Perform visual inspections and functional tests; report deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct H2S awareness and emergency response training for non-certified personnel.
  • Ensure Cascade Air Banks are charged and online; verify EEBDs and SCBAs are functional and charged.
  • Maintain operational status of electric and diesel air compressors; confirm maintenance is completed and documented.
  • Assist with inspection, cleaning, servicing, and testing of safety equipment (e.g., SCBAs, regulators, hoses).
  • Stock, stage, and load equipment for jobs; maintain clean work areas and sanitized masks.
  • Track inventory and availability of safety equipment.

We are looking for

  • NEBOSH certification (5 years and more) and relevant HSE qualifications
  • Proven experience with SAWCOD requirements and SAWCOD approval
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region preferred
  • Valid Iqama with a safety-related profession
  • Strong leadership, communication, and observation skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Offshore experience
  • Valid health Certificate
  • Willingness to work in remote and high-risk field environments
